General

The rich sound quality of the Ashdown Woodsman acoustic amplifier series in the more manageable form of a stompbox. The Woodsman-Pedal-R acoustic preamp doesn't just shape your sound but drenches it in lush reverb. Just as with the now-renowned two-channel amplifiers, this pedal comes fitted with two inputs: one standard mono jack for your acoustic instrument and an XLR for a microphone (if you prefer to mic up your guitar).

The Woodsman-Pedal-R: Authentic and High-Quality Sound

Besides bass and treble controls, this pedal offers a Notch Frequency pot so that any feedback-prone frequencies can be filtered out, leaving a clean, uninterrupted signal. Each channel has also been provided with a dedicated input and output volume control, so that your on-stage sound doesn't hang on the whim of the sound engineer, or you can hit the switch fitted on the back to put the Woodsman into Post mode and send your DI-enriched and fully tweaked sound directly to the mixing desk via the XLR output. If the set up is limited, or you simply prefer it, you can just as easily use the jack output and flip the pedal back to Pre mode. Essentially, the Ashdown Woodsman is designed to give you pure and faithful studio quality acoustic sound in the rehearsal room and on the stage.
