General

Equipped with 12 channels and a 500-Watt built-in stereo amplifier, the Yamaha EMX5016CF BS mixing desk is a great choice for bands. So that this powered mixer can be hooked up to your passive speakers, microphones, instruments and other gear, Yamaha have fitted a wide variety of both balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs, including two footswitch inputs and 12V lamp input.

The EMX5016CF: Advanced Mixer with Built-In Amplifier

Since the EMX5016CF features individual compression per mono channel, high-pass filters, and a 3-band EQ on each channel, the audio can be tweaked in minute detail while the volume can be kept consistent or limited if needed. What's more, the Master section is home to a highly advanced digital 9-band graphic equalizer for further sonic optimisation, and Yamaha have a integrated an extensive effects section that can be used to enhance the sound with two effects per channel. Meanwhile, the on-board feedback suppressor actively counters those unwanted screeching sounds, while all of the microphone inputs offer +48V phantom power so you can freely plug in your condenser microphones.
