General
One of the best things about this Mackie PPM608 powered 8-channel mixer is that it only weighs 9 kilograms! It also offers outstanding audio for bands as well as speech, which makes it ideal for live music and theatre performances. Its effects are easy to use and generated by a 32-bit processor to maintain the integrity of the original audio source.
Inside the mixer, you'll find an amplifier that boasts an output capacity of two times 500 watts, which is more than enough for most full-range speakers. It ensures the microphone signal is sent as neutrally as possible thanks to the high-quality Mackie preamps on each channel. The PPM608 has eight channels, each with its own equalizer and rotary knobs so you can fine-tune your sound with great precision. Use the switchable 4-volt power supply in order to make use of condenser mics. All this is wrapped up in a clever, durable design.
