General

The Behringer Europower PMP580S is super-convenient compact powered mixer with 2x 250 watts of output power. It's surprising how many buttons, faders and features Behringer managed to pack into this device, but you'd better believe it! The PMP580S has 6 mono channels with compression, 2 stereo channels, a monitor section, a 7-band EQ and a Klark Teknik FX processor. Each channel is equipped with a microphone preamplifier with phantom power, volume control, panning, 3-band EQ, and FX and monitor send. In any case, it definitely has enough functions to supply a good sound for small-scale performances that don't require a sound tech. The PMP580S is also a great choice for band artists or for use in a rehearsal room.

Europower PMP580S: Klark Teknik effects processor

Klark Teknik is Behringer's sister company, and is known around the world for their high-quality equalizers and signal processors. The DSP processor used for the effects in the Behringer Europower PMP580S was designed by this legendary company, as such features studio-grade presets. It's easy to operate too, so you can select the right effect in the blink of an eye.

Feedback detection and wireless support

The 7-band EQ for the master and monitor output is equipped with an FBQ Feedback Detections system. All you have to do is flip a switch and the faders will light up to indicate which frequencies are causing the problem. Furthermore, the PMP580M also supports the Behringer Ultralink ULM systems, which are wireless microphones with small USB receivers that you can connect directly to the USB port on your mixer.
