General

If you own one or two microphones out of the WMS40 series, you will probably also want to have a quick, safe way to charge them. AKG have equipped all their handheld transmitters and beltpacks with special charger contacts that are in a direct connection with the batteries. The charger uses these two points and therefore you won't have to take the batteries out of the microphones. You can simply place the microphones in the charger and it will instantly start charging the batteries. A real must-have for anyone who often uses their AKG gear.

Wrote the following about AKG CU400 double charger unit for WMS40 transmitters

Zeer handige dubbellader. Wordt door ons februikt voor 2 microfoons. Voor een oplader best prijzig, maar we gebruiken hem direct ook als statief, gemonteerd met tieribs op een mucrofoonstandaard met vlakke plaat daarop. Jammer dat voor dit doeleinde geen bevestigingspunten zijn gemaakt. Microfoons zijn zo wel veel handiger terug te plaatsen ipv in standaard microfoonklemmen. Opladen zelf is prima, niets op aan te merken. Goede feedback dmv ledlampjes over de status van opladen.
