Ze zou IP44 moeten zijn, (waterdicht onder elke hoek bij een lichte besproeiing,) dat test ik liever niet maar indien correct gemonteerd (en in een vergelijkbaar stopcontact gestoken) lijkt me dat wel realistisch.
Die montage is trouwens heel eenvoudig, één schroef aan de buitenkant losmaken (compleet verwijderen is niet nodig) en dan aan de pinnen de binnenkant eruit trekken.
Dat maakt een snelle inspectie handig als je problemen hebt met een kabel.
De rubberen 'body' is niet zo stevig als ik gewend ben bij andere stekkers. Dat deukt nogal in bij het vastnemen, niet dat het ervan kapot zal gaan maar het schept niet zo veel vertrouwen. You get what you pay for.
In mijn mening nog steeds een beter alternatief dan voorgevormde stekkers, misschien iets minder sterk maar het biedt tenminste wel een optie voor onderhoud/herstelwerken.
Prima aansluiten, en gaan makkelijk in en uit wcd's
vastmaken en ziet er verder robuust uit, nog geen
problemen mee gehad.
Voor de prijs is het een prima stekker maar als u op zoek bent naar een stevige stekker die goed tegen een stootje moet kunnen zou ik toch voor een andere stekker.
