General
Compact and complete, the Rode RODECaster Duo is essentially a podcasting, live streaming and music production workstation in one. The RODECaster Duo sets you up with two high-quality microphone inputs, both equipped with studio-grade Revolution preamps and Aphex effect processors. Plug in and set the balance before triggering jingles and sound effects with ease via the multifunctional faders and six programmable pads. Designed for professional two-person podcasts as well as interviews, this neat hunk of hardware doesn't require a degree in sound engineering to operate and has been finished with two headphone outputs and two USB-C ports so it can even be hooked up to two computers at the same time.
NTH-100 Headphones Included
Between April 29 and June 28, 2024, every RODECaster Duo comes including a pair of Rode NTH-100 headphones. One of Rode's most comfortable headphones ever, the NTH-100s feature alcantara ear cushions, an adjustable headband equipped with the unique FitLok system, and a closed construction that keeps ambient noise at bay, allowing you to stay fully focussed at all times. The headphones also include a carry case and an ID set so you colour-code your pair, which is amazingly practical when you've got multiple pairs lying around.

Na wat kleine probleempjes die met behulp van Bax konden worden opgelost, blijken een aantal zaken gewoon een drama te zijn. In de opname zit een enorme ruis, veroorzaakt door elektrische lading die door de USB verbinding gaat.
Bellen via Bluetooth is eigenlijk niet te doen, die verbinding is zo super slecht. Bax Shop had geen oplossing en Røde zelf ook niet.
Om een podcast op te nemen is de Rodecaster totaal ongeschikt. Helaas, het is wel een fijn apparaat om mee te werken.
