The Octavix is a sleek Electro Harmonix octaver. It allows you to add two extra octaves to your guitar or bass guitar output, and also boasts a boost feature that delivers some serious overdrive. The Octavix is a fully analogue pedal that generates a signal that's one octave lower or higher than your original signal. Of course this feisty little octaver is of the same high-grade quality as any other EHX product.

Electro Harmonix Octavix: widen your range

Pedals like the Octavix are great for many styles of music, and can also be used as a creative effect for vocals. Jimi Hendrix was an avid fan of the octaver pedal, and the effect is also quite popular in heavier music genres. This EHX octaver has a compact housing, so it'll easily fit among the other pedals on your pedalboard. It requires a standard pedal power supply, which means you can incorporate it into your rig without any problems.

Voor de prijs een prima fuzz. Minpunt is dat de octave up blijft klinken ook als je die helemaal uitdraait. Klinkt wel erg lekker in combinatie met distortion.

Helaas oversturen de actieve EMG pickups op mijn basgitaar dit pedaal totaal waardoor hij onbruikbaar is voor mij.
(als ik mijn elementen voor max 30% opendraai klinkt het pedaal best goed)

Een passive/active switch zou een goede toevoeging zijn geweest.
