General
Condenser microphones often offer better sound than the conventional microphones in your PC. The only downside of them is that they require phantom power, and PCs don't have that. Nowadays you have the option of using a mixer to power the mic, but that can get pretty pricey.
That's where Bax-shop comes in. We put together this set to offer you a way to easily connect your condenser microphone to your PC, Mac or laptop via the microphone input of your sound card (usually the blue plug)! You don't have to install anything - just plug it in and get to work!
The connection is simple. Plug your microphone into the mic input on the PS400 and select the voltage (often 48 V). The small plug goes in the microphone input (blue) of your PC, and you can place the cable in between.
Tips or comments about this product- Please note that it plugs in via the microphone input and not the line input.
- Also, don't forget to turn up the volume of your microphone input after connecting it.
