General

Yamaha's SessionCake SC-01 is a compact and affordable personal mixer that makes it easy to practise, record and even jam along with friends by connecting multiple SessionCakes together. Simply connect the SC-01 to your iOS device and you can use your apps to record anything you play. There's a Hi-Z jack input for connecting instruments like an electric guitar and a mini jack aux input for connecting external devices. The SC-01 also has a mini jack headphone socket and two mini jack sockets for connecting additional SessionCakes. It's powered by two AA batteries (not included) and comes with a TRRS mini jack cable and a manual.

Easy to use

The SC-01 couldn't be any easier to use. The top of the unit features four large control knobs giving you the ability to adjust your own volume, the input volume and the headphone volume. With the fourth knob you can control the pan (left and right). On the side, there's a mute direct switch which allows you to cut out the dry sound when using effect apps.
