The Dynacord Corus Evolution Sub 1.18 is a passive subwoofer with a single 18-inch woofer that combines perfectly with Dynacord's passive full-range speaker cabinets. Its built-in low-pass filter means that it can function together with a full-range cabinet from a single feed. This subwoofer features two large bass ports on the front and it is the perfect basis for a two or three-way sound system in combination with the DSP 260 speaker and several SL 1200 amps, for instance.
Dynacord Corus Evolution Sub 1.18: hear and feel the bass
Thanks to its large cabinet and two bass ports the Sub 1.18 manages to create a frequency range between 38 and 250 Hz, which means that the bass is properly low and becomes an important part of the overall sound. Especially when you think bigger systems, you can't go wrong with the Sub 1.18. As all Dynacord products, this subwoofer has a rugged construction that'll last you for years to come. Its housing is made of 15mm plywood that contributes to the sound of this sub. With its 500W continuous and 2,000W peak power, the Corus Evolution series sub manages to put forth a maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB, resulting in a bass that'll ruffle your pants and tip over vases.
