With so many speakers to choose from these days, it's sometimes easy to forget that passive speakers can sound pretty awesome too. That's definitely the case with this Samson RS12 HD speaker. It delivers a bright sound and enough power to fill a large room. This passive speaker has a maximum output capacity of 500 watts at 8 ohms and a 250-watt RMS output. It's equipped with a jack and a SpeakOn connector so you can connect multiple speakers for professional use.

In terms of durability, this speaker is made of rugged wood, but has been kept as lightweight as possible for better manageability. This tells you it can handle a rough life on the road and that you won't break your back trying to get it on a speaker stand. It boasts a frequency range of 50 Hz to 19 kHz, which is more than enough for pop music. In this frequency range, the speaker can produce an impressive 121 dB!
