General
The JBL PRX412M is a 12-inch passive speaker that you can employ as a full-range speaker or as a floor monitor. When powered by an amplifier or powered mixer this two-way speaker immediately puts on a fine display of JBL's clarity and great power. Thanks to its powerful mid range, the PRX-412M is perfect for the amplification of vocals and acoustic music. Combined with a subwoofer (the PRX418S, for example) you will have enough power for a driving beat. Even though it was meant for a starring role, this speaker is also a great background performer in fixed installations when suspended in a corner of the room, for instance.
The PRX-412M is ready for anything
Thanks to the PRX-412M's design, you can use it on the floor as a stage monitor facing upwards. Moreover, when you place it on a speaker stand you can choose whether you want it to face forward or tilted downward, at an angle of 10 degrees to better aim the tweeter at your audience, increasing audibility.Additionally, you can depend on this speaker's ability to produce high volumes for extended periods of time - proven by JBL's 100-hour test, an extremely long high-input speaker torture session that only a handful of its competitors can endure.
Rugged construction
A high-quality speaker like the PRX 412M deserves proper protection. Thankfully, the woofer and tweeter are safe from harm thanks to a thick steel grill with a mesh and an 18mm thick housing with a proper coat of splash lacquer. Moreover, JBL constantly prove that they aren't full of air and extensively test their speakers in the harshest circumstances so you can use it without any issues anywhere in the world.

heb deze nu al 2 jaar in bezit,
en ingezet van kleinere feesten tot als extra toon kasten voor grotere podia.
vermogen hebben ze genoeg in huis en zijn nog licht van gewicht.
perfect geluid komt hier uit zelf wanneer ze bijna op peak spelen.
zeker een aanrader deze jbl boxen.
Ik gebruik ze vooral voor FOH geluid en ik moet zeggen, mijn mond viel echt waar open, de eerste keer dat ik ze gebruikte.
Ze worden meestal gebruikt voor kleine fuiven, ze worden wel als topkasten gebruikt in combinatie met 2 enkele 18 inch subs of 2 dubbele 18 inch subs, en ze doen hun werk uitstekend.
Ik heb er een DBX driverack PA tussen hangen, wat zorgt voor een zeer mooie en zuivere klank, ook op hoog niveau.
Op geen enkel moment gaan ze schel of vervormd klinken, wat toch vooral een pluspunt is.

2 statief bevestigingen, 1normaal en 1 onder een hoek
Afwerking is gewoon subliem

1 handvat (het zou fijn geweest zijn als er 2 handvaten waren, maar aanzien deze ook als monitor kan gebruikt worden snap ik het wel)
Voor de rest nog geen echte minpunten gevonden
Voor in de toekomst ga ik er nog zeker 2 extra kopen.
