General
Armed with a 12" woofer and 1.34" tweeter, the Devine Artis 12 is ready to be deployed for background music, speech or vocals. The 300W passive speaker is especially great at reproducing mid-low to high frequencies, but it can also serve as a full-range speaker. With that in mind, it's no surprise that the Artis 12 offers mobile DJs, drive-in shows, pubs, shops and restaurants the ideal, PA-based solution for music playback. To get the absolute best performance out of this speaker, it's worth adding a 15" or 18" subwoofer since, combined, these two will form a full-range system capable of delivering optimally balanced sound.
The Devine Artis 12: Housing & Connections
The Artis 12 has a cabinet made of lightweight, durable plastic with an integrated handle on the side for eased transport. The bottom of the cabinet is fitted with a 35mm stand adapter, which not only allows you to mount it securely on a speaker stand but comes equipped with a tightening knob to reduce resonance and to prevent the speaker from swivelling. The back of the Artis 12 has two locking speaker connectors, enabling you to connect two speakers to a single amplifier channel.

LET OP! Deze kasten zijn intern op zowel ingang als uitgang op +1 +2 en -1 -2 door verbonden, een 4 polige kabel zal hiermee storing geven op een dubbel gestuurd kanaal.
De statief gaten in mijn kasten bleken kleiner dan 35mm en pasten daarmee niet op alle statieven. Het enige wat ik oprecht mis is een handvat aan de bovenkant voor transport.
Enige nadeel die ik kon vinden was dat de mount voor de speakerstand te ver achterin de speaker zit waardoor de speaker erg naar voren leunt en dus de stand ook naar voren wil vallen.
