General

The brand dB Technologies have built up quite a reputation in the audio world. This passive DVX P8 is the result of years of knowledge and experience and is equipped with an 8-inch woofer and a 1-inch compression driver. The horn can be rotated, which means this speaker can be used horizontally as well as vertically with a dispersion angle of 90 degrees and 70 degrees, respectively. The slanted rear edges make it possible to use the DVX P8 as a floor monitor and with an RMS capacity of 300 watts, this speaker delivers a sound to be reckoned with!

dB Technologies DVX P8: professional quality

Many brands choose plastic housing for their speaker cabinets, but dB have opted for a wooden housing, which has a positive impact on the sound. This cabinet is made of plywood, a material that is able to absorb unwanted resonance. To make this speaker more manageable for transportation, it's been fitted with a sturdy handle on the top. If you want to fly the DVX P8, there are 12 M8 rigging points at your disposal. Naturally, it can also be placed on a speaker stand.

Applications

The dB Technologies DVX P8 originates from the DVX series, which contains a complete passive and an active series that you can use together. On the rear of the DVX P8, there are two SpeakOn connections, one for input and the other for output, which makes it easy to link other speakers from the same DVX series, for instance. The rugged cabinet is engineered for professional use on the road.
