General

The Arena 12 is a two-way passive speaker with an 12-inch woofer, that features a 2-inch voice coil for the low frequencies and a 1-inch tweeter with PTC driver protection for the high frequencies. The speaker can take up to 300 watts RMS, and produces a maximum sound pressure of 127 dB (SPL). The Arena 12 is delivered with a protective cover.

Additionally, the Arena 12 features M10 mounting points with screw threads for mounting a speaker cabinet with, for example, eyebolts on chains, or ropes.

For the high tones, the Arena 12 has a rotatable high-frequency horn for constant dispersion. Through the rotating of the horn, this directivity can be adjusted, regardless of whether the speaker is set up vertically or horizontally.

Thanks to the multifunctional housing, this speaker can also be used as a floor monitor, satellite speaker in combination with subwoofers, or as a full-range system on speaker stands.

We waren opzoek naar FOF speakers voor onze kerk (b12xl20xh5,5m goede akoestiek). Op aanraden van Bax hebben we de DB Arena 12 gekocht. Zeer warm geluid en helder geluid. De mid range komt heel goed naar voren. Deze speakers kunnen 75-125 man goed aan. Raad je aan om ook eens in de winkel te gaan kijken, wel op je portemonnee passen want je gaat met meer weg dan je van plan was.

Boxen getest in combinatie met de 15inch basboxen versterkt met de behringer inuke. 3000(2x). Goed strak geluid. Zowel hoog midden als lage tonen klinken goed. Mooie afwerking. Voelt solide aan. Het totaal is en mooie set zeker voor het geld.
