General

This pristine white, weatherproof speaker set produces a wonderful sound. The Bowers & Wilkins AM1 is designed with the great outdoors in mind. The durable passive two-way speakers rule, even in the most difficult weather circumstances. Therefore, the AM1 set is ideal for positioning on your terrace, patio, garden or next to the pool. The good-looking B&W AM1 can also be used indoors, of course.

The sound of the AM1

During the designing phase, great care has been put into the sound of the B&W AM1. Contrary to many other weatherproof speakers, the AM1 set delivers excellent audio. Thanks to the positioning of the 25mm aluminium dome tweeter in each speaker, a wide sound dispersion is ensured. Furthermore, the AM1 speakers feature a lot of low-frequency power, thanks to the auxiliary bass radiator at the rear.

They plan to officially launch this active sub at the 2017 NAMM show next week.
