Roland S-4000S-3208 digital snake
Product no: AU-S-4000S-3208 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

This digital snake features 32 inputs, 8 outputs and 24-bit/94kHz AD/DA conversion, and is usually placed on stage. It offers high-grade XR-1 preamplifiers for each input channel, which can accept both microphone and line level inputs, so you'll no longer require direct boxes. Phantom power and an input PAD are also available for each channel.

Digital snake with high-grade preamplifiers per channel

In an analogue system, weak microphone signals are amplified by means of a microphone amplifier, but only after a long journey via the analogue snake, which often results in reduced audio quality and crosstalk. The S-4000S-3208, however, is equipped with high-quality and remote-controllable XR-1 preamplifiers. As such, the input is amplified instantly at the source, where the audio quality is at its purest, ensuring an excellent sound!

As soon as the signal has been digitalised, it becomes immune to analogue cabling loss. The XR-1 preamplifier has been specifically designed for live audio applications and is made of high-grade components that have been carefully selected by Roland's engineers.
