General
In response to the release of Serato Flip, Pioneer has given the DDJ-SX a thorough makeover. The result - the DDJ-SX2 - is ready for some serious beat sketching with Serato Flip. Of course you can simply use the controller's hot cue buttons, but there are also a number of dedicated buttons for the control of your recorded cues. The DDJ-SX2 supports Serato's renowned timecode system DVS as well, which means you can use a real turntable for scratching and beatmatching, instead of platters. Serato's Pitch 'n Time is included too so that you can easily change the speed and pitch of tracks for even easier mixing. In short: the DDJ-SX has been completely brought up to speed!
Pioneer DDJ-SX: an improved concept
With the DDJ-SX2, Pioneer has not reinvented the wheel, but upgraded the original DDJ-SX controller. It still boasts the same familiar features, including eight trigger pads and four cue buttons per side, plus a platter with matching pitch fader. Each of the DDJ-SX2's controls has been assigned to a specific function in Serato, so you won't have to navigate an endless menu each time you want to change your settings. To provide you with a clear overview under ill-lit circumstances, the controller's buttons are all brightly backlit. With the DDJ-SX2, you're fully equipped to hit the stage!
Serato and Serato Flip
Serato software is quite popular among DJs thanks to its great reliability and remarkable flexibility. It allows you to prepare your sets at home, so you can perform at your best when you're up on the stage. Serato Flip enables you to record and easily re-play up to 6 cues per track, and serves as an excellent beat sketch pad as well, allowing you to prolong your tracks to any extent you want. Naturally, the DDJSX2 is equipped with a mixer, complete with 3-band EQ and dedicated filter knob, and the controller's rear panel is fitted with all the connectors you need for a professional setup. Now that Pioneer has armed you with a full arsenal of fantastic features and functions, all you need is a tour schedule!

Het is een product waar je ook verschillende filmpjes over terugvindt op het internet, waardoor je ook gemakkelijk kunt leren hoe alles werkt.
Inmiddels heb ik het apparaat al weer bijna een maand in huis en ben zeer tevreden. Het apparaat voldoet helemaal aan de verwachting.
Oja Tip: De USB kabel aan de achterzijde van de controller moet er de eerste keer echt goed ingedrukt worden tot deze vast klikt, anders hou je haperend contact.

De eerste indruk was echt zeer positief!
Pioneer heeft veel elementen overgenomen van de bekende CDJ's wat ik persoonlijk zeer goed vind aangezien je op fuiven vaak geconfronteerd wordt met dat soort apparatuur.
Verder vind ik het zeer gemakkelijk dat deze controller over 4 kanalen beschikt zodat je altijd een mp3 of gsm kan koppelen.
Ook de meegeleverde software is handig. Het gaat om de volledige versie van Serato.
Ik beschikte vroeger over een Numark Mixtrack Pro II en daar gebruikte in de Intro versie van Serato.
De overstap leverde weinig problemen op en de aangemaakte crates blijven gewoon behouden!
Top product en wederom een perfecte service van BAX!!
Ik ben zeer tevreden over deze controller maar heb er ineens een heel ambetant probleem mee elke keer als ik deze controller aanraak geeft hij een tintelend gevoel/schok dat bijna niet uit te staan is en geeft hij een luide knal door mijn speakers dit is echt niet prettig! Kent hier iemand wat meer over is het probleem reeds al opgetreden? Nog een pluim voor de service van bax!
