Tuesday 5 April 2016 | |
Close your eyes and visualise pyramids, palm trees, snake charmers and maybe even a flying carpet and a young man with an old lamp. With its authentic Middle-Eastern instrument sounds, the Korg Pa4X Oriental can bring all that to life right in the comfort of your own studio. You probably get the hint: Korg did not wait for the Messe in Frankfurt to start to announce their latest Pa4X!
Pa4X: a magic lamp of wondrous soundsThe Pa4X Oriental is a variation on the existing Pa4X that was released about six months ago. Besides everything the Pa4X has to offer, the Oriental sets itself apart by its additional Oriental-style sounds that would make an excellent accompaniment to stories from One Thousand And One Nights. From oriental wind instruments to percussion, it's got it all, and it's a fantastic tool for adding a great vibe to your music. Think of it as adding extra spice to your repertoire. Different versionsThere are essentially two different models available, one with 61 keys and another with 76 keys. The latter is particularly interesting for people who need a bit more range, but still want to be able to transport the Pa4X on the back seat of a car. Another advantage of the 76-key version is that it has an internal SATA hard drive that you can use for storing MIDI files and samples. Both of these two models are also available with the Korg PaAS speaker system, which is great for home users. If you'd like to own one of these gorgeous Pa4X Orientals, then be sure to keep an eye on the product pages for up-to-date information on availability and pricing.
