Blackstar is expanding their popular ID:CORE series with two new versions of 100 and 150 watts. The Blackstar ID:CORE 100 and the Blackstar ID:CORE 150 are more powerful versions of their smaller counterparts and have all of the same features. Both versions also have a looper and an octaver built in for even greater possibilities.
The 100-watt and 150-watt versions are both fitted with two 10-inch speakers that deliver Blackstar's unique Super Wide Stereo for a great sound whether you're at home, in the studio or on the stage. For powerful amps that are equipped with two speakers and packed full of features, they are relatively light. That makes them an excellent choice if you often carry your own gear to rehearsals or performances. While they may be relatively lightweight, they are nothing of the sort when it comes to features. Modelling to the maxThe Blackstar ID:CORE 100 and 150 both have three fully programmable channels with six voices consisting of clean warm, clean bright, crunch, super crunch, OD1 and OD2. There's also a comprehensive effects section with modulation, delay and reverb effects as well as the looper and octaver. The looper allows you to record a section of up to 30 seconds in length and is easy to operate with the included foot switch to let your creativity run wild. Well-connectedThe amplifiers can be connected to your computer easily too for recording purposes or for editing and storing sounds using the free downloadable software. There's an MP3/line input so that you can connect an external sound source, a headphone socket with speaker emulation for practising silently or recording, and a stereo effects loop so that you can connect your favourite pedals. Whether you choose Blackstar's ID:CORE 100 or ID:CORE 150, you'll be getting an extremely versatile modelling amplifier.
