iZotope Presents Ozone 8 and Neutron 2

The brand iZotope knows a thing or two about complex algorithms. They are one of the leading studio software developers on the market today and have just released Ozone 8 and Neutron 2, as well as the brand-new Music Production Suite bundle.

Mixing

Once you've finished recording and you're ready to start mixing, that's where Neutron comes in. It's a channel strip with excellent effects and countless new features in comparison to the first-generation Neutron software. As most pieces of music are comprised of several different instruments, it goes without saying that you can use multiple Neutrons at once and allow them to work together. It's like positioning your tracks on a virtual stage, in a manner of speaking.

Mastering

When you're ready to start mastering your music, then you'll need Ozone 8. This software package also offers top-notch effects and can even communicate with Neutron! In Ozone, you can use the Equalizer to add some extra sparkle to your project, or the Compressor to give it a laid-back feel. The Imager enables you to make your music wider or more narrow, depending on your preferences. Use the bypass button every now and then to listen to the effect Ozone has on your music.

Different versions

There are three Ozone editions: Ozone Elements, Ozone 8 Standard and Ozone 8 Advanced and three Neutron editions, Neutron Elements, Neutron 2 Standard and Neutron 2 Advanced. For die-hard iZotope fans, there's the iZotope Music Production Suite, a complete bundle that consists of Ozone 8 Advanced, Neutron 2 Advanced, RX6 Standard, Nectar 2 Production Suite, Vocalsynth and Trash 2 Expanded.
