AAS Presents Chromaphone 2 Virtual Percussion |

"Chromaphone strikes in full dynamics with acoustic sharpness and precision." That's the idea behind the AAS Chromaphone 2. Version 2 has been officially launched, which means all you enthusiastic sound-designers can have at it!
Physical ModellingAAS has built up a reputation for physical modelling technology, a technique that reproduces sounds with great accuracy in real time. The parameters for this algorithm have been based on natural sounds. Unlike a normal synthesizer, you won't be working with oscillators, but with the varying weight of a virtual mallet. You can assign any sound, such as a virtual marimba, to any key you want. Chromaphone 2 is for percussion and chromatic percussion. The great thing about this virtual instrument is that it functions like an acoustic instrument with no key groups, no audible velocity changes and no disruptive repetition of static sounds. In short, it offers everything regular samples can't! OfferVersion 2 has been improved in a number of ways, most of which are outlined in detail in the product description (see below). For early birds who want to catch that worm, AAS is offering Chromaphone 2 a special introductory price until Aptil 11th, 2016! It also comes with an interesting collection of presets, including Synbiosis, which was developed by sound designer Daniel Stawczyk. Synbiosis is a commercial product that is normally sold separately, so if you take advantage of this special offer right now, you'll receive it at no extra cost! That's a double discount! Even if you're not interesting in designing your own sounds, Chromaphone 2 also offers plenty of presets for limitless sound variations. Want to keep up with the latest news?
