Dorico Pro 3 is Steinberg's new notation software that combines swift workflow with stunning visuals. Engraving, that's called, and it's a craft that normally takes years of study and experience to get down. Granted, engraving has slowly become a commonly used marketing term, but you can rest assured that all sheet music made using Dorico is top-grade. It may look like something aimed at aesthetic purists, but any musician, especially professional sight-readers, are simply able to play better and with more ease when provided with professional-grade sheet music.

What's New In Steinberg Dorico Pro 3?

Let's highlight a number of the new features included in Dorico Pro 3. First off, Steinberg have implemented the new Condensing function. With just a single click of your mouse, you can turn all of your bars into a condensed conductor's sheet that includes and combines multiple instruments (eg. flute 1 and flute 2) on the same bar. What's more, Dorico now offers tablature support and can be used for guitar music notation and, even if you've got one library full of bowed-string instruments and another with brass ensembles but from a different brand, you can still use both simultaneously. Dorico Pro 3 even includes its own collection of sounds and now supports harp pedals, includes a brand-new Comments panel and much, much more.
