General

The Roland GR-S V-Guitar Space foot effect enables any guitar player to effortlessly hit the right key. This versatile guitar synthesizer offers the versatility of Roland's GK processing technology - known from the GR-55 and the VG-99 - as a pedal. The GR-S V-Guitar places a wide range of creative options at your disposal. Combine it with a GK-equipped guitar and the sound of each individual string is separately registered and converted into a synthesizer sound. Each stroke, slide, vibrato and bend is accurately reproduced.

GR-S V-Guitar Space effect pedal: various effect types

The exceptionally versatile GR-S V-Guitar enables you to create new, surprising sounds time and time again. You can choose from four different effect types, which are all adjustable in minute detail. The Crystal effect provides ultra-dynamic and transparent sounds, while Rich Modulation is a multi-channel chorus that makes the most of the separate string processing. Slow Pad produces swelling synth sounds with a variable attack, and Brilliant Clean enables you to add virtual strings by using the Color knob. The solid controls and sensitive knobs allow you to accurately adjust your sound.

Memory and Freeze function

During the development of this effect pedal, Roland's engineers have carefully considered the user-friendliness. As such, the GR-S V-Guitar Space is easily accessible and has a well-organised menu structure, which allows you to quickly navigate to the sounds and effects you are looking for. The built-in memory offers room for 4 personal settings, which can be accessed again directly via the switches of a GK pickup. The practical Freeze function prolongs your notes by means of the designated foot switch, enabling you to create an exceptionally rich and elaborate sound by yourself.
