General

The Electro Harmonix Epitome multi-effect combines three renowned EHX effects: the Micro POG octaver effect, the Stereo Electric Mistress for stereo chorus/flanger, and the Holy Grail Plus for reverb. Each effect can be switched on and off independently by means of its own designated foot switch. The Epitome is equipped with two 6.3mm inputs and outputs, allowing for mono and stereo input/output.

Epitome effect pedal: shimmer mode

Activate the shimmer mode of the EHX Epitome if you really want to get down to some serious experimentation. It re-routes the effects' chain, resulting in truly inspiring combinations. The Holy Grail will reverberate the wet signal of the Micro POG, and the Mistress will follow up by adding a delectable flange effect to the reverb tails.

Hier is over nagedacht.

Wednesday 20 January 2016 By Lizanne

Lots of guitarists out there would love to experiment with an old-school tape echo. You know, those warm, analogue 60s-70s delays, brought about by a tape recorder with all sorts of fascinating controls. Unfortunately, there are no free rides in this world. The price of a (secondhand) tape recorder, if you can find one, is often astronomical, not to mention the costs of the cartridges and maintenance. So, Dunlop launched the EP103 Echoplex.
