General

Besides the original Platinum Spot 5R, Elation have also released a Pro version which offers more colour options.

CMY and more - the Spot 5R PRO

Thanks to CMY colour mixing, nearly any thinkable colour can be achieved. The smoothly rotating colour discs increase in colour intensity (cyan, magenta and yellow). This system is designed to project wonderfully warm colours.

Furthermore, the moving head is equipped with options and functions that increase the user-friendliness. Rotating gobos, a motorised iris, rotating prism, rotating frost filter, mechanical dimmer - they're all present, so that the moving head is equal to much more expensive units!

Halves and thirds

The Platinum Spot 5R Pro is designed with the specs of the 575 moving head in mind but its weight, dimensions and energy consumption needed to be halved. Success has been achieved, it's even a third smaller than the average 250W moving head.
