The T-Rex Tapster tremolo is a welcome variation of the T-Rex Tremster. Thanks to its wonderful vintage sound, the Tremster was already a popular pedal, and yet T-Rex has managed to improve on it with this incredibly complete tremolo pedal. The tapster has a Tap foot switch that allows you to adjust the speed of the tremolo effect while you play!
Setting up the Tapster
Naturally, you can still adjust the tempo with the rate knob. Additionally, you can use the Subdivision control to select the rhythm of the tremolo: crotchet, quaver or three beamed quavers. Furthermore, the T-Rex Tapster features a depth knob (to set the intensity of the effect) and a volume control. And, like all T-Rex pedals, the Tapster produces a warm, rich and predominantly natural sound.

Voor de extreme geluiden hoef je dit pedaal niet te nemen, vandaar de 4 sterren.
Ik was daar niet naar op zoek en ben erg tevreden over de mogelijkheden, maar wanneer je echt op zoek bent naar de extreme tremelo geluiden is de tremelo van Electro Harmonix veelzijdiger.
Het geluid is erg mooi van deze T-rex. Naast de tapfunctie is het ook erg fijn dat je het volume kunt aanpassen. (Bij de tremelo van Boss miste ik dit echt!).
Al met al een zeer goed pedaal!
Geluid is prima! Geen extra ruis of iets dergelijks, en fijn dat je kan schakelen tussen triolen, achtste en kwart noten. Doet verder precies wat je verwacht. Top pedaal dus!
