General

Part of the high-grade Mako line-up, the Walrus Audio M1 is one potent modulation machine that wields a stack of six multifunctional effects, each primed to coat your sound in chorus, stick it through a phaser, a tremolo, a rotary, a viber or even a filter. Each effect has a further three different variations and, via the Depth and Rate pots, can be shaped and moulded to create bespoke modulation. Then, this mod-based box of tricks goes a step further by granting access to some warm Lo-Fi edge, no matter which mode is selected, completing a 100% drool-worthy pedal.

The Walrus Audio Mako M1 High-Fidelity Modulation Machine

Once you've sculpted a custom effect, it can be saved to one of nine preset slots to be called up later. Want more? Then via MIDI, you can gain access to a total of 128 presets and, to flip through them, simply hit the Bypass and Tap footswitches at the same time. Via the Tune switch, even more control over every modulation effect, including the Lo-Fi versions, is provided, giving you the pick of three different LFO waveforms while the tempo can be cut up into three different sub-divisions: quarters, eights and punctuated eighths. To finish, Walrus Audio have equipped the M1 with a set of stereo inputs and outputs and a USB port for firmware updates as well as a MIDI IN and MIDI THRU port.

Absolutely amazing pedal with so many tweakable settings and incredible sound quality. It will take a while to fully explore all the sounds. Bax Music delivery was great the pedal arrived a day early and they were the cheapest by far (used a 5% discount code as well). Thanks Bax Music!

Super veelzijdig. Must have on the board.

Dit is echt een uitstekend modulatiepedaal. Het zit boordevol klassieke effectopties en introduceert daarbovenop tape-emulatie, inclusief ruis, textuur en warble. Een waanzinnig capabele ambient machine.
