General

Engage the soft switch of the true-bypass Walrus Audio Polychrome and unleash the rich multicoloured versatility of this fully analogue flanger. Flip between two different flavours of flange and three different LFO shapes to uncover an enormous range of possible effects, from the subtle and traditional to the deep and extreme. This flanger can be freely integrated into any chain and let loose at just the right moment, and since this is a Limited Edition offering, it comes stamped with Japanese Kamakura-style artwork.

The Polychrome Analog Flanger: Adaptable Flanging

The Polychrome comes with the same familiar, clean and intuitive layout as the Walrus Audio Julia and Lillian, and just like these other modulation pedals, a blend pot (d-f-v) is provided to strike the sweetest balance between the dry and flange or vibrato. The Rate pot sets the LFO anywhere between 0.1Hz and 8Hz, while the Depth pot controls the filter range and the Sweep pot adjusts the frequency range from modern and deep to vintage and shallow. To finish, the Feedback pot determines just how subtle or extreme the effect can get.
