General

The solid NUX NCH-4 Ukiyo-E mini-stompbox is like a teeny-tiny gateway to three big, fat chorus effects, ready and waiting to take on any playing style and any genre. The internal DSP seamlessly blends digital and analogue tech to keep the build as compact and pedalboard-friendly as possible while a clean set of three control pots provide detailed parameter tweaking. Switch the Ukiyo-E into ST mode to spit a classic chorus; switch to CE-1 mode for a jazz-infused chorus; and for a Leslie-style rotary-treated chorus, switch to SCH-1. Every mode is backed up by excellent dynamic response and noise cancelling, and to complete the pro-grade setup, this three-way chorus features a smart tap-tempo and can be set up in buffered-bypass or true-bypass as preferred.
