General

NEO Instruments present the Micro Vent 16: an accurate emulation of the well-known Leslie rotary speaker, which was made up of a 10-inch speaker in a single brushed motor known as the Vibratone. Depending on the Distance control, an algorithm simulates an adjustable microphone placed in front of the Vibratone and the distance to the cabinet. While the sound of the Micro Vent 16 is less complex and dominant compared to the Micro vent 122, this effect is perfect to give rhythm parts and solos just that little bit extra.

Switching between Speeds and Modes

The Bypass footswitch offers much more than you'd expect and can be used to control the speed, toggle between Momentarily or Latching mode, or turn the effect on or off. The pedal has two speed settings. The first is adjusted via a switch and continually varies between slow, fast and anything in between. The second is adjusted via the 3-way switch and gives you three options: Slow, Fast and Stop.

Powerful SHARC DSP and Fully Analogue Circuit

The compact housing of the Micro Vent 16 is built like a tank to protect its powerful core: a 32-bit SHARC processor responsible for the processing of the complex algorithm of the effect. It's equally powerful as the one in the popular Ventilator II and to keep the analogue circuit as clean as possible, NEO Instruments used only the highest-grade components available to please even the most demanding purists. Finally, this rotary speaker effect pedal is powered by a 9V adapter.
