General

This is a reissue of the renowned DOD Meatbox Subsynth from the '90s. It's an effects pedal that was designed to offer bass players a new range of sub-low frequencies that you can't just hear, you'll feel them too! The classic DOD housing gives this stompbox a seriously strong construction, and has been topped with a durable foot switch. Design-wise, this pedal features a tasteful red colour, a creamy white print - and even the fly is back! Besides being great for bass guitar, guitarists who prefer playing in lower tunings can also use the Meatbox to add some more bottom to their sound.

The DOD Meatbox Subsynth: Low-Frequency Experimenting

Just like the original DOD Subsynth effects pedal, this reissue sets you up with four potentiometers. The Sub dial allows you to add a 35Hz frequency to your bass guitar sound, while the Low dial allows you to add a 60Hz frequency. Meanwhile, the Octave and Output dials control the level of the added pitch and the output volume of the pedal. Compared to the original stompbox, this modernised version allows you to add even more sub, octave and output to your core sound. The reissued Meatbox also comes highly recommended for keyboard players and producers who love experimenting with low frequencies.

DOD Meatbox Subsynth Subharmonic Generator Effects Pedal
Wrote the following about DOD Meatbox Subsynth Subharmonic Generator Effects Pedal
