The Steve Vai Legacy Tone Capsule is a modification circuit that will completely alter the tube sound characteristics of your BOSS Waza Amp. Working together with Steve, the people at BOSS made sure that this capsule reproduces just the right compression and tonal reactions, on each string and at any volume. It uses elements from the Legacy amplifier, to better emulate Steve Vai's iconic sound. From smooth leads with oodles of sustain to a warm and dynamic clean, the Steve Vai Tone Capsule can coax it all out of your Waza Amp. Roland have captured the sound of jazz-blues-fusion guitarist Robben Ford in a new Tone Capsule for the Roland Blues Cube guitar amplifier. There's no need to take our word for it though, or even Roland's word for that matter. Robben Ford himself had the following to say: "I've been playing through tube amplifiers all my life. So how close we got to that sound, you know, to me is quite phenomenal. To think that Roland has come up with something that is as convincing as this is pretty impressive."

NAMM 2016: Boss Launches 3 New Stompbox Effects: BC-1X, VB-2W and VO-1

Boss, a pioneer in effects pedals, is launching three new effects pedals with the BC-1X, VB-2W and VO-1. These are a bass compression pedal (BC-1X), a reissue of the VB-2 vibrato (VB-2W Waza Craft) and a stompbox-sized vocoder (VO-1). Boss decided to release a reissue of the popular VB-2 vibrato pedal, and Boss Japan gave it their blessing in the form of the Waza Craft label.
