General

Strike, glide, slide, press and lift your notes with the Roli Lightpad Block M controller. This innovative gadget includes plenty of software and can be used in the studio, but is especially impressive on stage. It's an expressive touch controller that allows you to make sounds by swiping, sliding, striking, pressing and lifting. If you're a mobile producer/DJ who likes to experiment with sounds and put on a show at the same time, then the Lightpad fits the bill!

Features of the Roli Lightpad Block

The magic happens in the touch area, which is a 2D pad for controlling and playing at the same time. There are five different operations possible on this touchpad that enable maximum expression. The silicone layer is thicker than that of its predecessor and it features a subtle micro key wave structure. The Lightpad Block comes with Ableton Live Lite, Equator Player, Strobe 2 Player, Tracktion Waveform, eleven NOISE soundpacks, BLOCKS Dashboard and a 3-month licence for MAX MSP. What makes the Lightpad so special is its DNA connectors on the side for connecting it to other Blocks to create a large, custom controller!

Roli Lightpad Block M
Wrote the following about Roli Lightpad Block M
