General

This bundle consists of two white Maschine Mikro MK2 controllers (with included software) and an active USB 2.0 hub by König. Use them to create killer beats and awesome tracks in a wink! If you often collaborate with others, use your controller for live applications, or perform on various locations, owning a second controller is a great benefit. You can easily leave your entire digital live setup plugged into the König USB hub - that way, all you have to do is lift up the lid of your flight case, connect a single USB cable to your laptop, and you're good to go.

Maschine Mikro MK2

The Maschine Mikro MK2 offers a quick, innovative way of working, based on a smooth, ultra-fast workflow. Searching, importing, editing and playing back samples, automating parameters and arranging patterns - you can do it all with this compact controller. The Maschine Mikro MK2 is a controller, so you have to rely on your computer for the necessary processing power to run the included Maschine software, which can be used as a stand-alone or as a plug-in for your DAW. The Maschine Mikro MK2 comes with over 6 GB of sounds and samples, so you can instantly unleash your creativity.

Konig 4-port USB 2.0 hub active

König's active USB hub allows you to add four USB 2.0 ports to your laptop or desktop computer. The rugged device is powered via the USB port of your PC or Mac, but if you're using a lot of peripherals that require a good deal of power, you can also use the included adapter, ensuring the hub provides enough power for four devices. The active 4-port hub supports high-speed, full-speed and low-speed transfers and comes with a USB cable.

nee, dit is het niet. ik krijg steeds de melding dat aangesloten apparaten (welkeender ook) sneller kunnen werken 'als ik het aansluit op een snellere 2.0 usb' poort terwijl deze hub "normaal" gezien 2.0 is. enja, m'n laptop heeft 2.0 poorten. ook heb ik een andere hub (eveneens 4 poorten) zonder bijstroom (gewoon in laptop geplugged) en die doet het perfect zonder enige meldingen. ik denk dat ze der stiekem 1.0 poorten in geduwd hebben : ) andere en betere!

Waw, wat een apparaat...
Na jarenlang minder met muziek (maken en spelen) bezig te zijn geweest, nu de zin voor 1000% terug gevonden..

Ikzelf heb de "gewone" Maschine die iets uitgebreider is qua bediening, maar allen werken ze op dezelfde gemakkelijke manier.

Je moet de maschine niet bekijken als een drumcomputer, of als een speelgoedje.. hij is véél meer...
Het is een instrument... je moet het leren bespelen, maar alles werkt heel intiutief en de software is zo gemakkelijk dat je zelfs na een uurtje spelen al een geweldige toffe track uit de vingers hebt gerold...
Eens je het "instrument" hebt leren bespelen zijn de mogelijkehden eindeloos, zelfs met de meegeleverde soundlibrary van drumsounds, effecten, en complete instrumenten ben je al weken zoet met alles te beluisteren. En dan kan je ook nog kiezen voor vele uitbreidingen van NI zelf of van andere partijen.
Daarnaast kan je ook aan de slag met sampels of kan je zelf opnemen van welke geluidsbron die je maar wil...

Niet voor niets is de maschine terug te vinden in de DJ booth van top-DJ's, in de studio van vele producers en makers van (film)muziek. Maar dit wil niet zeggen dat een "gewone" gebruiker er niet mee aan de slag kan, integendeel!

Ook zeer nuttige tutorials zijn er genoeg te vinden op het internet, kijk maar eens op youtube (tip: Andrew Chellman, Jeremy Ellis of Supreme Beatz).

Over het apparaat zelf:

+Zeer sollide, mooie afwerking, gemakkelijke installatie, eenvoudige bediening (je hoeft echt niet de hele handleiding door te worstelen. Wel nuttig is het om wat turorials op youtube af te werken voor je eraan begint...

-Je bent wel effe zoet met installeren. De vrijschakelcodes voor de meegeleverde software zit bij in de doos, dus dat is onmiddellijk aan de slag. Koop je echter uitbreidingen bij NI, dan duurt het dikwijls wel twee dagen voor je daar een code van krijgt, blijkbaar zijn ze daar een beetje onderbemand :-)

TIP: Wil je alvorens aan te kopen toch eens proeven van enkele mogelijkheden? Probeer dan de iphone app (iMaschine). De mogelijkheden zijn hier wat beperkter maar doen je gegarandeerd verlangen naar de "echte" maschine!

Conclusie: de Maschine zal iedereen die graag muziek maakt en complete songs of tracks met een professioneel resultaat wil, jarenlang kunnen bezig houden.
Tip: je geraakt eraan verslaafd en een urrtje ermee werken is zo om, voorzie dus genoeg vrije tijd ;-)

Lampje wordt rood als ik deze aansluit op mijn laptop maar als ik een usb apparaat in de poort steek gaat het lampje uit en werkt deze niet meer.
Mijn laptop heeft USB 2.0 poorten en windows xp.

Please note, however, that the Traktor 2.10.0 installer is still dependent on the latest drivers. When you install Traktor 2.10.0, this means you'll have to download the latest drivers in order to get it to function properly.
