Although the iStage is small in size, it is a drum pad that puts a large number of buttons at your disposal. Perfect for those who hate to get by with a mere eight or sixteen pads, this little white gem offers no fewer than four times twelve dual-colour LED and seventeen red LED buttons. Add another three sets of 4x4 velocity-sensitive drum pads to the mix, and you'll have all the buttons you could possibly need, right at your fingertips!

ik heb deze controller precies 19uur in huis gehad voor ik hem terug stuurde naar bax, niet omdat hij kapot was of niet goed functioneerde.
Deze Midi Trigger pad is namelijk(in mijn ogen) gemaakt voor audio(traktor/ableton/cubase/ext.) ik had hem graag willen gebruiken voor het aansturen van MyDmx en diverse andere software.
Het geen dat mij deed beslissen om hem te retourneren was, omdat er 4 pre-set layers in zitten die niet aan te passen zijn
1: DJ deze layer is in de handleiding en software specefiek voor Traktor, ik kreeg er op Vdj en MyDmx geen midi communicatie.
2: Efecten deze funktie bied een volledig blauw oplichten 4x16 trigger pad, dat bij drukken op de pad een parameter in schakelt die het mogelijk maakt om van het niveau van een bepaald EFX tebepalen
3:DAW deze heeft een aantal rode en blauwe trigger als preset, deze zenden ook geen midi data uit naar VDJ en MyDmx, blijkbaar werkt het alleen met de daarvoor bedoelde besturings software.
4: Drummer Deze fuctie heeft tot nu to mij het meest kunnen bieden het apparaat wordt verdeeld in 3 vakken 4x4blauw 4x4 rood 4x4 blauw, bij mij waren jammer genoeg de rode en laaste blauwe 4x4 trigger kwa midi signaal identiek aan elkaar.
verder staat in de beschrijving aanslag gevoelige drumpads, helaas is dit ook weer niet zoals het blijkt, je moet vrij veel druk uitoefenen op de pads, meer dan je eigenlijk wil.

-Stevige plastic behuizing.
-Mooi design*.
-componenten voelen degelijk aan.
-erg felle leds zowel blauw als rood.
-Usb ingang voor linken met andere Icon I producten of diverse Usb apparaten.
*Witte versie.
Min Punten:
-Vier voor geprogrammeerde layers.
-De Pads zitten erg dicht op elkaar waardoor je soms 2 of meer tegelijk indrukt.
-De Imap software is erg beperkt en kan alleen de "Drummer layer" Opnieuw mappen.
Conclusie:
Deze drum pad is de perfecte partner voor een sampler/editor, mede door de 4 layers bied deze controller weinig mogelijkheden voor andere doeleinden
3 Sterren omdat de controller degelijk, doch aantrekkelijk is, maar erg beperkt in zijn mogelijkheden
