The Carbon 61 by Samson is a slim USB MIDI keyboard. 61 durable, full-sized keys are at your disposal. The width of this keyboard stretches to 5 octaves, making this Carbon 61 a versatile melodic unit. In order to give more expression to your playing, a pitch bender and modulation wheel are also featured. Furthermore, you can connect a sustain pedal, to let piano parts sound better and to allow for more legato-style of playing. Transpose and shift octaves at the push of a button.
Samson Carbon 61: Efficient and Practical
In order to optimally fine-tune the Carbon 61, a data encoder and LED display are provided. Various (MIDI) functions can be adjusted with these. At the rear, you'll find a USB and MIDI connector. Whether you are using the Carbon 61 on stage, to operate samples or control other synths, or if you use it in the studio: its compact dimensions ensure that it never gets in the way.
iPad-Compatible
The lightweight build of the Samson Carbon 61 means that transport or storage isn't an issue. You can position it on your lap or on top of a stage piano. Thanks to the integrated stand, your iPad can ideally be position on the Carbon 61. Clearly read your sheet music or connect the Carbon to your iPad via an optional kit. The Samson Carbon 61 makes playing and recording easy, at home and on stage.

Verder kun je via de "Edit" knop bijvoorbeeld velocity uitzetten dus dan heb je geen aanslaggevoeligheid (Kan eventueel handig zijn voor de mensen die het lastig vinden hiermee te spelen).
Ook gebruik ik FL Studio en Ableton met dit keyboard. Je kan reverb toevoegen als je het niet "echt" genoeg vind klinken. Ik heb zelf een pedaal erbij gekocht (aanrader van Bax) en daarmee word de reverb zelf al geregeld dus ben zeer blij met deze producten!
Kort samengevat: Mooi product goede prijs en werkt ook prima!
De bijgeleverde software heeft nu echter compleet andere namen. Installeer de software vanaf de site niet de DVD en vul daar de code in.
Je krijgt 4 geïnstalleerd. Op de site kun je ook een 50 tal instrumenten downloaden en installeren.
Het beoogde resultaat om piano te spelen resulteerde wel dat ik nogmaals 100 euro aan software moest uitgeven.
De bijgeleverde software is wel de beste op de markt.
De toetsen zijn wat zwaar om in te drukken. En maken zelf ook veel geluid. Met een koptelefoon op hoeft dat geen belemmering te zijn.
Verder vond ik het jammer dat er plakresten achterbleven op de toetsen van de beschermfolie die erop zat uit de verpakking.
Zeker wel uiteindelijk waar voor je geld! Prima om mee te beginnen. Een mooie introductie middels de software om ook te gaan produceren.
La seule chose que me dégoutte, c'est l'emballage! Pour un petit clavier de 97x23x4 cm. le paquet mesurait au moins 1.50 x 40 x 30 cm. avec beaucoup de plastic pas du tout nécessaire! Je le trouve une honte pour le respect de l'environnement! Si c'est vous - Bax - ou le transporteur, ça m'enfiche, parce que Bax est finalement responsable pour cet arrogance de pollution. Il faut le changer! Pour moi une raison pour acheter chez la concurrence en tous cas.
Assez compact, il s'insère très bien sous mon plan de travail et me seras à contrôler un instru VST.
Als je dat niet doet krijg ik een veel te zwakke toon bij lichte aanslag en een veel te harde, vervormde toon bij harde aanslag.. Misschien ligt dat niet aan het keyboard, maar voorlopig blijf ik er mee zitten.....
Over de bestelling en de levering: niets dan lof voor Bax
Als noodoplossing voor tijdelijk aangeschaft!
Nu zelfs podium waardig inzetbaar in combi met iPad air en een waanzinnige hoeveelheid supper sound en studio Apps !

Na het bijstellen van de velocity curve in apps als IGrand and Sampletank heb je, voor het geld, een prima speelbaar keyboard. Uitkomst voor af en toe, met minimale aparatuur, buiten de deur spelen. Belasting van iPhonebatterij door app en keyboard valt mij reuze mee.
