General

The compact, budget-friendly Nektar LX25 Impact is a surprisingly versatile MIDI keyboard that is also extremely user-friendly. The LX25 is compatible with most of the popular DAWs, and allows you to easily connect this keyboard to a PC or Mac via USB. All you have to do is install an integration file, and you're set to go! If you do not yet have a DAW, you can use the included complete Studio One Artist. The 25 full-size, piano-style keys provide medium tension for optimum comfort and playability similar to a full-sized digital piano.

The controls of the LX25

Use the six dedicated transport buttons to start recording or to forward or rewind, and press Shift to get access to the buttons' alternate functions. The compact LX25 also features eight knobs to control settings like volume or pan. Furthermore, the LX25 also features a fader for main volume control, as well as assignable octave and transpose buttons, and pitch bend and modulation wheels.

A comfortable MIDI keyboard

Next to two octaves worth of keys, the LX25 also features eight velocity-sensitive rubber pads that make life easy, and can be used as MIDI trigger or toggle buttons. Assigning these buttons is easy peasy: simply select a pad, play the note or drum sound, and you're done! You can then store your settings using one of the four pad map locations.

Whoopie!
