General

The IK Multimedia iRig is a small, portable MIDI keyboard controller for your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android device (Android 5.0 or higher, or with a Samsung Professional Audio device), PC or Mac. The iRig Keys consists of 37 velocity-sensitive mini keys that feel pleasant, despite their small size, and allow you complete control of your playing. You'll also find some extra functions such as a pitch and modulation wheel, keys to change the octave, program keys and a programmable volume/data button. Contrary to other compact MIDI keyboards, the IK Multimedia iRig Keys is equipped with an input for a sustain or expression pedal, and ideal for adjusting parameters like volume, tremolo and vibrato.

Software

The IK Multimedia iRig Keys comes with free software. Download software sampler SampleTank FREE and the virtual piano app iGrand Piano FREE for your iOS device. For your PC or Mac, you will receive a licence for SampleTank 3 SE, including an impressive 6.5-gigabyte sound bank. After you've registered your product, you can download this software at IK Multimedia. Android users can now download the apps iGrand Piano FREE and iLectric Piano FREE via Google Play or Samsung Galaxy Apps.

werkt prima op een ipad air.
werkt op gratis apps zoals sample tank, garage band en cubase
alle knoppen werken op de softwares
het zijn kleine toetsen maar prima om mee te werken

Het is hartstikke leuk om met de keys te spelen samen met de sample tank app! Ik gebruik m met m'n iPad. Ik heb alleen een oude ipad en ik moest nog een 30-pin naar Mini-DIN kabeltje bestellen. De sample tank app is er in een gratis versie en als je je iRig keys registreert krijg je extra geluiden maar ik heb de versie van 20 euro genomen en ik vind het geweldig!
