General
While there are hundreds of models to choose from when shopping for a compact USB/MIDI keyboard, only few come at such an affordable price while loaded with so many features as Devine's VersaKey 61. Built using brushed aluminium, this plug-and-play keyboard features aftertouch functionality for enhanced expression and has been fitted with four knobs, eight pads and a transport section for hands-on plug-in control. What's more, there are pitch and modulation controls in the form of touch-strips and, to sweeten the deal, Devine include a copy of Bitwig 8-Track so you can start coming up with fresh beats right away.

Heeft prima toetsen. De aanslaggevoeligheid is na mijn ervaring stabiel.
Het herprogrammeren van de knobs en pads is gemakkelijk en alle veranderingen worden lokaal opgeslagen.

Je kunt niet verwachten dat de transport controls automatisch werken in een DAW.

The ugly:
Aftertouch, pitch/mod strips en drumpads zijn van matige kwaliteit en geven geen consequente of homogene midi signalen. Ze zijn niet onbruikbaar, maar niet goed voor live muziek enzo.
Als je een midi-controller zoekt met redelijke toetsen en goede IO is dit een prima koop.
ik zocht een midi-keyboard, maar zonder deze te koppelen aan een computer is er geen uitwisseling via midi kabel mogelijk ook niet na een externe voedingskabel.
onbruikbaar product als je muziek wilt maken zonder zonder computer of laptop.
ondersteuning of mogelijke oplossingen voor dit onding stellen niets voor.

Het exemplaar dit ik kreeg opgestuurd leek al gebruikt te zijn. Doos was open gemaakt en er zaten wat kleine gebruikssporen op.
