General
The UMX MIDI controller is an incredibly flexible master keyboard with a control section that's useful for a large number of applications. If you need independent control of hardware synthesizers or general MIDI sound modules, or even if you just want to be able to control your sequencing software or computer plug-ins from a convenient location, then a UMX controller is just the thing for the job. They offer maximum flexibility and excellent ease of use, so you can realize all of your creative ideas.
As far as controls are concerned, you have eight dials, two wheels (pitch bend and modulation), one pedal connection and one fader at your disposal, for a total of 22 total controls. This means total control over your work. Once you've adjusted the parameters for a specific scenario, you can easily save it as a user preset.
This controller comes with a UCA222 USB audio interface, so you can get the most our of your PC or Mac's sound. You can use this interface for directly connecting sound sources with the USB port, and you can listen to input and output signals with your headphones or speakers. The UCA222 also has an extra S/PDIF optical output for direct digital conversion, and is fully powered by USB, so you don't need any external power! You can also easily connect line devices such as mixers and CD players with two analogue mono inputs.

Niet te veel poespas aan deze keyboard en zo hoort het ook. Ik haam mijn klanken uit de Mixcraft 7 en er is totaal geen latency! Heb zelfs de audio interface niet gebruikt.
Voor de homestudio muzikant handig als je niet teveel plaats op je werktafel wilt verspillen...
Dank voor uw review! De Behringer U-Control is te gebruiken met Windows 7 32 en 64 bit maar met Windows 8 is dit nog niet bekend, hier zijn nog geen drivers voor beschikbaar. Grote kans dat dit gaat komen, maar voor nu hebben wij nog geen bevestiging dat dit werkt met Windows 8.

Deze controller werkt op Windows 7. De driver is tevens beschikbaar via de website van Behringer.
- Het aansuiten met plug en play gaat als vanzelf.
- Goede geluidskwaliteit met de extra meegeleverde geluidskaart.
- Vertraging in geluid is geheel opgelost. (bij Ableton Live had ik enorme vertraging)
- Zeer degelijke kwalitweit.
Alom een zeer goed en gebruikersvriendelijk product wat het aanschaffen zeker waard is!
Ik gebruik hem thuis voor te producen, aangesloten op FL-studio en muziek maken!
Het is plug en play. Hij vind hem als een MIDI apparaat.
Al de knoppen kun je instellen wat de functie is.
