General

Arturia has developed the Keylab 88 for musicians who want to use the full potential of their MIDI keyboard. It features an 88-key keyboard with aftertouch, 16 velocity and pressure-sensitive pads and a wide range of controls. It has a Fatar keyboard that is just as wide as a piano and features piano-style, hammer-action keys. The velocity-sensitive keyboard also has aftertouch, which enables you to influence the note after you've played it depending on how much force you use. The Keylab looks as great as it sounds with a stylish housing and wooden side panels.

Arturia Keylab 88: a comprehensive controller

The Keylab88 has so much more to offer than just a piano-style keyboard. It's equipped with a comprehensive set of controls for all kinds of functions in your DAW. There are nine sliders for adjusting the volume of the various tracks and rotary knobs for changing filter values. There are also numerous push buttons, including transport controls for starting and recording.

Pads, pedals and stands

For playing rhythms or triggering effects and loops, the Keylab88 has sixteen high-quality pads that are both velocity and touch sensitive. Other handy musical tools include pitch bend and modulation wheels. Connect a sustain and expression pedal and/or a footswitch for triggering or influencing various functions. Arturia have even equipped this keyboard with a laptop holder and a durable music stand for your iPad or sheet music.

Analog Lab

The Keylab 88 can be used with any DAW, but to make the most of this MIDI device, Arturia have included their own Analog Lab software. This program can be used as a standalone VST/RTAS/AU plugin and offers more than 5,000 emulations of classic sounds! You can adjust these sounds in detail, add affects and stack them as desired.
