General
The Medeli WIMIDI is a plug-and-play wireless USB/MIDI interface for Mac OSX and Windows PCs. With this interface, you can send and receive wireless signals from devices like master keyboards, MIDI controllers, and other computers. The WIMIDI system consists of a transmitter and a receiver that are mounted together, but can be used separately, of course. The interface can send full Duplex MIDI data on the 2.4 Ghz frequency band. The system's transmission range is 15 metres and up to 8 sets can be used simultaneously. The transmitter is powered by the USB port, and the receiver is powered by two AA batteries with a lifespan of 25 hours of continuous use.
