From tablet holders to adapter cables - IK Multimedia offers a diverse range of accessories for modern musicians and producers. Take the iRig MIDI, for instance, a highly compact MIDI interface for iOS. Redesigned, and now available under the moniker iRig MIDI 2, it provides you with three traditional 5-pin MIDI connectors for MIDI in, out and thru. Both the input and the output sport a blue LED indicator. The IK Multimedia iRig MIDI 2 comes with a software and app bundle - hardly surprising for a product from the makers of AmpliTube, SampleTank and GrooveMaker.
iRig MIDI 2: a multi-OS device
Unlike its first incarnation, the iRig MIDI 2 is now compatible with iOS as well as Mac and PC. As such, it comes with both a Lightning cable for connection to a recent iPhone, iPod or iPad, and a USB cable for connection to a PC, Mac or Android tablet. You can easily transport this versatile, compact interface in your jacket pocket. From now on, there's no need to let your creative ideas go to waste; use the iRig MIDI 2 to connect your controller to your smartphone, tablet or computer, and you can record them instantly.
MIDI options
Without the MIDI protocol, digital studios would have looked much different. IK Multimedia's iRig MIDI 2 enables you to use MIDI to its full potential. Whether you're using a master keyboard, a compact MIDI keyboard, drum or sample pads, or a DJ controller, this compact interface allows for seamless connectivity with popular music apps and software. It doesn't even matter how old your MIDI equipment is, as the iRig MIDI 2 is fitted with traditional 5-pin connectors, which have been ensuring a stable link between instruments and computer since the 1980s.
Tips or comments about this product- Please note: This product includes a Lightening cable and a USB-A cable only. To use this product with older iOS devices, a 30-pin cable is required and is not included. To use this product with Android devices, and depending on the device, an IK Multimedia Mini-DIN to USB C cable, or an OTG to Mini-DIN cable is required.
- Please note: the apps SampleTank FREE and iGrand Piano Free for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch can be downloaded free of charge in the App Store.

-Prijs is aan de hoge kant.
- Geen mogelijkheid om je Ipad of Iphone op te laden/aan te sluiten, tijdens gebruik.(Losse interface is hiervoor wel verkrijgbaar maar erg duur..) Echter vreet het apparaat niet echt stroom dus voor studio gebruik prima geschikt.
Kunnen jullie als collega's heel stoer onder elkaar zeggen dat de klant maar beter moet lezen, maar jullie zijn als shop pas stoer als jullie er een 'Let op!' bij vermelden. Een snelle levering gaat samen met snel gebruik. Blijkbaar snappen ze dit niet en is service iets wat zij niet kunnen aanbieden.
