General

This D7 dynamic microphone head by AKG has the subtle and open sound of a condenser capsule, combined with the powerful resonance of a dynamic microphone. The specifically designed double diaphragms can vibrate freely, which results in a very sparkly, clear sound. Thanks to the use of laminated materials, peaks in the frequency range are dampened. In combination with the super-cardioid pickup pattern, this allows the D7 to generate a lot of output power without suffering from feedback. The D7 head has a built-in steel dust filter that protects the diaphragm, so that you will be able to enjoy your microphone for years to come. This microphone head is compatible with the HT4500 handheld transmitter by AKG.
