Square Mic Flags zijn perfect geschikt voor microfoons met een diameter van 19 tot 38 mm. De behuizing dient tevens als shock mount die hinderlijke trillingen buitensluit. Deze microfoon-flags zijn ideaal voor het tonen van logo's (branding) tijdens het houden van interviews. De Square Mic Flag houdt de microfoon op z'n plaats door deze vast te klemmen met een hoeveelheid rubberen schoepen. Voor microfoons met een diameter tussen de 19 en 32 mm zijn er precies voldoende schoepen om deze correct in te klemmen. Bij microfoons met een grotere diameter (32 tot 38 mm) kun je de schoepen om en om verwijderden om deze passend te krijgen. Het materiaal van de Square Mic Flag is bestand tegen schokken en vallen en kan dus tegen een stootje.

Rycote is well-known for their high-quality windshields, blimps, shock mounts, and wind jammers. Their ingenious new line of wind shields, the Cyclone series, has proven to be quite popular. With this new series, they've raised the bar when it comes to enhanced attenuation, user-friendliness, weight, and efficiency. This remarkable wind shield is compatible with every microphone from the NTG series by Røde, from the NTG1 to the NTG4+. What's more, it's also suitable for shotgun microphones that are up to 280 mm long and between 19 and 25 mm in diameter which means you can use it with microphones like the DPA 4017B, Neumann KMR81i, Sanken CS-2, Sennheiser MKE 600 and the MKH 416 too.
