General

The KDM-2 digital electric metronome produces a clear and powerful sound thanks to the high-quality speaker, which has a resonator structure that ensures that the KDM2 can always be heard anywhere, even over the sound of loud instruments. You can select one of three PCM sound (cowbell/agogo/clave) for the beat, so you can choose which sound you want to compliment the instrument you're playing. The volume of the metronome can be adjusted and you can also use headphones with it, thanks to the headphones jack input. The start/stop switch at the top blinks in two colours, red and green, so that you also have a visual indication of the tempo. This function is ideal if you want to practice in silence.

The nineteen rhythm patterns contain all kinds, from basic rhythms to variations like son clave and rumba clave. The temp can be set in three ways. Full Step allows you to set the tempo between 30 and 252 in steps of 1. Pendulum Step uses pre-programmed tempos and Tap Tempo allows you to set a tempo by pressing the button several times in the tempo that you want. All your settings can be saved in the internal memory.

The KDM2 can also be used as a tuner. The Sound Out mode gives a reference tone, from C4 to B4. The frequency of the calibration tone A4 can be set from 410 – 480 Hz.
