General

The Ibanez AS153L AYS is a guitar for left-handed hollow-body enthusiasts. The semi-acoustic has an attractive Antique Yellow Sunburst finish. Flamed maple wood further enhances the warm appearance of this guitar. A 3-ply neck made of mahogany and maple is glued on to the body. This allows for easy access to the higher frets and improved sustain and resonance. The ebony fingerboard is supremely comfortable to play, across all 22 medium frets, which have undergone special Artstar treatment for an extra-smooth feel. The AS153L from Ibanez is a strictly limited edition model.

Two Super 58 humbuckers give the AS153L its amazing versatility. These pickups have an average output that responds exceptionally well to the sound of your amplifier or effect pedals. From technical jazz to blues with feeling, this Ibanez takes it all in its stride. Meanwhile, the stable ART-1 bridge, with a Quik Change III tailpiece, takes care of tuning stability and sustain. A Tri-sound switching system, for extra diversity, is another outstanding feature. This enables you to switch the pickups from series to parallel, or use them as a single-coil.
