General

Lefties of the world rejoice! Gretsch has introduced a left-handed, budget-friendly edition of the Gretsch Jet guitar, the Gretsch G5435 Pro Jet. This gorgeous instrument has the classic looks and sound that made you a fan of the Gretsch brand in the first place. The guitar is part of the Electromatic series, which is renowned for its excellent price/quality ratio.

The materials of the guitar

Gretsch has equipped the Pro Jet with a chambered basswood body, so it produces the original hollow-body sound. The body is fitted with an arched maple top with a black lacquer finish and elegant white bindings that also run along the neck of the guitar. The maple neck of the Gretsch Pro Jet has 22 medium jumbo frets and a rosewood fingerboard. To help you quickly find the right position while you're playing, the Gretsch guitar features original Hump-Block inlays.

Hardware of the Gretsch G5435 Pro Jet LH

In order to ensure the authentic Gretsch sound, the Pro Jet is equipped with two humbucker pickups with a Filter'Tron look. A switch allows you to switch between the bridge and the neck pickup, or to use a combination of both. The volume of the pickups can be adjusted by means of the knobs. A fixed tail piece increases sustain and the Adjusto-Matic bridge of the Gretsch G5435LH Pro Jet allows for accurate intonation.
